Our Strategic Priorities:
- Inspire urgent, action-oriented public engagement around reversing climate impacts on children and most vulnerable communities;
- Strengthen the continuum of engagement, starting with K-12 education to cultivate the next generation of environmental leaders;
- Equip youth with the skills, abilities, knowledge and opportunities to thrive in a 21st Century workforce;
- Design a platform to drive resources to nonprofit environmental justice partners in frontline communities; and
- Replicate at local, national, and international levels.
Where we work
The Climate Equity Collaborative is a network of organizations working to ensure that communities hit first and worst by the impacts of climate change are meaningfully engaged in decisions impacting their communities and future. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive, no matter what challenges they face. That’s why we work to make sure that the voices of those who are most affected by climate change are heard in policymaking circles. We know that when these communities are empowered, they can create real change.

The CEC seeks to provide equitable compensation for community leaders and organizations by making pass through funding the standard
Community Talent and Upskilling
The CEC will invest in reskilling for a just transition to a green economy
CEEP: Climate Equity Education Program
The CEC will work to increase climate engagement opportunities for youth by creating educational and professional opportunities through creative mediums
Digital Equity: Storytelling
The CEC wants to build engagement for youth in underserved communities in climate equity work by creating digital content through social media
Our Impact
The Climate Equity Collaborative is on a mission to engage youth and vulnerable communities in climate planning and development efforts. We believe that everyone deserves to be part of the conversation around climate change, and that by working together we can create a more equitable and sustainable future. Our partnership brings together leaders from government, business, and the nonprofit sector to develop innovative solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives. With our partners, we’re building a better tomorrow for all of us. We achieve this by driving investments to Community Based Programs, designing innovative resources, and storytelling.
